the backstory.

I freaked out on my second* daughter 

(while reading Oliver Jeffers "Alphabet Book" together) 

for not recognizing the letter K.  I told her if she did not learn her letters that she would never be able to order off a menu, 

learn to drive, or get asked out on a date. 

 That following Fall at Pre-School registration, her teacher asked what she really hoped to learn during the school year?  

Without hesitation, she quickly answered...
